Food Recovery Far North Coast is an initiative of the Consortium of Neighbourhood Centres - Far North Coast. Focused on increasing availability of food assistance to individuals and families in Far North Coast NSW. Strengthening the community and actively providing solutions to poverty and increasing household expenses. We aim to support the health and well-being of community members affected by financial hardship. Working collaboratively to reduce food waste by taking active steps towards sustainability and environmental protection. Aiming to enhance service delivery and outreach of food donations to remote and regional communities across our region.
Food Recovery aims to rescue edible food from local supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Rescued food will then provide healthy, nutritious meals and food parcels to community members across Far North Coast NSW.
If you require support, have food donations to offer, or are interested in volunteering, please contact us. Our aim is to connect communities with free food to support those most vulnerable
